Sukhee is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language slice-of-lifestyles comedy-drama movie directed through Sonal Joshi and starring Shilpa Shetty within the titular position. The movie follows the adventure of Sukhee, a Punjabi homemaker who has been married for twenty years and is unhappy along with her mundane existence. After a danger come across with her antique friends, Sukhee makes a decision to take manipulate of her existence and pursue her dreams.
Shilpa Shetty gives a heartwarming performance as Sukhee, a girl who is struggling to locate her identity and purpose in lifestyles. Shetty is capable of convey out the vulnerability, power, and resilience of her man or woman effortlessly. The helping solid, inclusive of Amit Sadh, Chaitanya Chaudhry, Kusha Kapila, Dilnaz Irani, and Pavleen Gujral, is also precise.
Sukhee is a well-intentioned film that offers with critical subject matters along with girls empowerment, self-discovery, and 2nd chances. However, the film does suffer from some drawbacks. The screenplay is a piece scattered and the movie may want to have achieved with some tighter enhancing. Additionally, some of the subplots, inclusive of the one regarding Sukhee’s old flame, are underdeveloped.
Overall, Sukhee is a heartwarming and inspirational film with a sturdy performance from Shilpa Shetty. The film is worth looking for its message of self-empowerment and for Shetty’s endearing portrayal of Sukhee.
